Catalogue Prices - Bare Rooted Roses
Prices printed in this catalogue relate to traditional bare rooted plants which can be sent by mail order. Containerised roses are normally more expensive and selection restricted. Container roses are available on a cash and carry basis late Spring onwards.
All prices include VAT at 20.00%
To Place An Order
You may place your order at any time, by completing the order form and posting or faxing it to us. We are also happy to accept orders by phone, fax or through the web site.
Please note we only acknowledge orders on request.
Please keep a record of your order.
Place your order early and there is less likelihood of a variety being sold out. In the unlikely event that a variety is sold out please complete the substitute item on order form. With the exception of our advertised Collections, you will be contacted when we receive your order if any of your selection is sold out.
Pre-Payment Quantity Discount on Value Of Roses
If payment is made when placing your order, you may deduct the appropriate discount for roses totalling £75.00 and over when being sent to the delivery address. Sundries and carriage charges are not subject to this discount.
2.5% for orders between £75-£94
5% for orders between £95-£189
7.5% for orders between £190-£304
10% for orders between £305-£399
12.5% for orders over £400
Royal National Rose Society Members Discount
If you are a current member of the RNRS you are entitled on presenting or quoting your membership card number to a 10% discount. Please note that this cannot be taken in addition to our published pre-payment discounts.
Carriage and Packing Charges FOR BARE ROOT ROSES UK
ALL ORDERS to be dispatched within the UK are subject to carriage and packing charges as follows:-
1-4 plants of any type excluding all types of standards £4.95 or
5-12 plants of any type excluding all types of standards £7.50 or
13 plants and over plus orders including all forms of standard roses £9.00
Your order will fall into one of the above categories. A seperate charge is required for each delivery adress. * Special note , delivery charges of Standard roses to Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight or The Scottish Isles. For these areas of the U.K. we regret we cannot include orders for Standards in the above rate. Please phone us before ordering any Standards and we will quote.
Carriage & Packing Charges FOR BARE ROOT ROSES UK
All orders for delivery within the UK are subject to carriage and packing charges as follows:
- 1-3 plants of any type excluding Standards £4.95 or
- 4-10 plants of any type excluding Standards £7.50 or
- 11 and over plants plus orders including all forms of Standard roses £9.00.
Your order will fall into one of the above categories.
A separate supplement of £10 must be added for delivery charge for Standard roses and orders of over 12 plants when delivery is made to Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Scottish Highlands and Isles.

Paying By Credit Or Debit Card
We accept MasterCard/Visa and most debit cards. Unless otherwise arranged your account will be debited at the time of ordering. Therefore if a pre-payment discount is available it may be deducted. Goods can be sent to an address other than the cardholder's, however to enable us to process payment the cardholder's address must also be provided. In addition to card number and expiry date we need the 3 digit security number from the back of the card. For peace of mind this part of card details will be destroyed once payment has been taken.
A simplified invoice accompanies unpaid orders, and credit accounts are subject to 10% surcharge after 28 days.
Orders supplied outside the United Kingdom
Special terms Channel Islands
We are unable to supply Standard roses to the Channel Islands. VAT maybe deducted. Postage is charged at cost after dispatch. There is a Handling Charge of £1.50 per order.
Export Orders - general information
To comply with regulations of the various Countries our rose trees undergo a Growing Season Inspection which guarantees that our roses are healthy. We are not normally able to Export Standard Roses. Prices of the roses are as per our catalogue and except by special agreement must be paid in advance. Payment should be made by Credit Card or by a Sterling cheque drawn on a London Bank.
Our Guarantee is not applicable.
Plants to Customers in the EU
If you are Registered for VAT, this maybe deducted provided you supply your VAT number when ordering. We are not able to quote postage costs but will estimate on knowing your requirements. Postal charges are normally charged after dispatch.
Export Orders – outside EU
As regulations vary from Country to Country, contact your Ministry of Agriculture to ascertain regulations and if an Import Permit is required, please forward this with your order. We are unable to export to countries such as Canada which require two Growing Season inspections. All orders are subject to Ministry Inspection, and the issue of a Health Certificate. To keep these costs to a minimum we assemble several orders for inspection at one time. We make a token charge of £30 towards Certificate and Inspection costs. Export orders are not subject to VAT and this will be adjusted and credited towards cost of preparation of plants which normally have to be washed clean of all soil. Carriage and packing is charged at cost after dispatch, please advise method you wish to use Air Mail Post or Air Freight. Carriage costs can be considerable, so do think about combining your order with friends to reduce costs. Export orders are sent from November to end of March, with the exception of those to USA and Bermuda which are sent from late November to end of March.
